Experience musical collaboration with new friends at Rhythm Ranch’s curated 2-hour jam sessions. Participants are paired with 3-4 musicians they have not met before, encouraging fresh creativity and unexpected results.
Music mind melds without the stress of open mic stages. Songwriters, test out ideas.
No AI Allowed!
Each session costs $75 per player and includes a professionally recorded .wav file of your jam and a RRR T-Shirt! 16 and up.
Rhythm Ranch will organize and confirm appropriate pairings, schedule the event, and provide further details.

Every month, The Ranch opens its barn doors to young artist vocalists, guitar or piano players ages 15–21 for an inspiring session of original music, collaboration, and community. Giving emerging artists a supportive space to share their stories and song ideas, develop their craft, gain public performance confidence, hear feedback on their work, and connect with and learn from fellow youth musicians who are just as passionate about songwriting.
The series will be hosted by Alex Boyer, a creative, emerging 16 year-old artist from Cumming, Georgia who eats and sleeps with his guitar.
This is not just another open mic. It is an event about growth, education and collaboration.
Each session will be attended by an educator or other professional who will offer insights on lyric writing, song structure and performance skills, and also provide constructive feedback on individual performances.
Chelsea Sefzik is our May Mentor. Chelsea received her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from GA State University and a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Evangel University in Missouri. She is currently Chorus & Drama/Musical Theater Teacher for South Forsyth County Schools.
Attendance is strictly limited to 9 youth artists.
$30 participation fee.
Each artist will receive a .wav file of their performance, recorded on an analog Neve console.
