Submit your best ORIGINAL demo track—americana, rock, pop, country, hip-hop, indie, jazz, classical, or any style you love. No AI-generated music: we want to hear your authentic sound!
Your music will be judged by an all-star industry panel:

Every month, The Ranch opens its barn doors to young artist vocalists, guitar or piano players ages 15–21 for an inspiring session of original music, collaboration, and community. Giving emerging artists a supportive space to share their stories and song ideas, develop their craft, gain public performance confidence, hear feedback on their work, and connect with and learn from fellow youth musicians who are just as passionate about songwriting.
The series is hosted by Alex Boyer, a creative 16 year-old artist from Cumming, Georgia who eats and sleeps with his guitar.
This is not just another open mic. It is an event about growth, education and collaboration.
Each session will be attended by an educator or other professional who will offer insights on lyric writing, song structure and performance skills, and also provide constructive feedback on individual performances.
Spencer Scott Smith is the perfect coach and mentor for youth singer-songwriters, bringing the experience of more than 200 live performances a year and a lifelong passion for music. A fixture on the North Georgia singer-songwriter circuit, Spencer has been performing since age nine and holds a degree in music. Known as a “performer’s performer,” he combines skilled guitar work, ultra-polished stage presence, and an engaging, audience-focused style that keeps crowds captivated. With an active catalog on Spotify and a recent Georgia Songbirds Showdown win—earning the #1 spot on a Weekly Top 10 Countdown—Spencer offers young artists inspiring, real-world guidance from a seasoned performer who knows how to connect through live and recorded performances.
Attendance is limited to 7 youth artists to ensure equal attention on each participant.
$30 participation fee.
